Company structure
Adecron Ltd was set up in 2003 to provide expert food technology services to the Australasian food industry under the Food Tech Consulting banner.
Adecron Food Tech Consulting, is run by Principal Consultant and Technical Director Anny Dentener-Boswell who brings to the company a wealth of knowledge, including many years since 1981 in Food Product Development in the Food & Dairy Industries, and since 1997 as an independent consultant.
It is Adecron Ltd's policy to provide you with the best possible service. We may, with your consent of course, subcontract or refer you to other consultants. This could apply when there are time constraints (although you may prefer to wait till our staff are available), when we feel that the project would benefit from other specialist knowledge, or where there may be a conflict of interest. Referral or subcontracting for food technology projects may be to other independent food technology specialists within the FoodInc Food Industry Consultants Group.

Our facilities
Food Tech Consulting - Facilities available include dedicated office space with networked computers, set up with "small business" and specialist food technology software, and a small laboratory/test kitchen with benches and storage. We use several accurate scales (from 10 mg - 3 kg), pipetter down to 20 microliter, a quality industrial pH meter, accurate thermometers, and an incubator (-18 to +55 C) for storage trials, as well as a range of common laboratory items. Stocks are kept of food industry raw materials (thickeners/stabilisers, acidulants, maltodextrins, colours [natural and artificial], preservatives), and a flavour library with natural, nature-identical and artificial flavours is maintained. The benefit to you is that we can create prototypes quickly with less need to have to wait for raw materials to arrive.

Our services are backed up by full confidentiality which is clearly described in our comprehensive lawyer-vetted Client-Consultant contract, which also vests in you the intellectual property created, once the bills are paid of course.
Your interests are further protected by our liability insurance cover, in the unlikely event of unexpected problems as a result of our advice. See also our policy page for other information.
Community involvement
While Adecron Ltd and its clients play an important part in our lives, we are also involved in other activities.
Anny is a founding member of the FoodInc Food Industry Consultants group (www.foodinc.co.nz) , current treasurer and past chairperson and secretary. She is a past treasurer for the Product Development Division of NZIFST, and past secretary for DIANZ Auckland.
During her 8-year involvement with her children at Playcentre she took on jobs in public relations, treasury, training/human resources, convention organising and leading.
As a student in Wageningen, Anny was a competitive rower for 2 years, with 7 wins up to sub-national level. This was followed by several years as administrator and coach. Anny coached a successful double sculls representative team to the national top, and to win silver at the European rowing championships. She is a qualified rowing instructor and assistant-umpire.
Anny enjoys her established garden which
now only needs occasional attention since it got a complete
make-over several years ago, including a retaining rock
wall built from many of the large volcanic
rocks dug up from all over the garden.
Anny looked after the Mangere Bridge community website www.mangerebridge.co.nz that her late husband Peter Dentener set up, for over a year after his death. She has now handed this over to local volunteer Shane Langley.
Peter Dentener, a past principal of Adecron Ltd, Peter provided web design, photographic and scientific consulting services and support to numerous clients and community organizations. Peter sadly suddenly passed away in September 2005. Peter had a great love for the area he lived in as is reflected in the Mangere Bridge community website he set up, www.mangerebridge.co.nz, with many nice photos taken by him.

Adecron Ltd is located 801 Redoubt Road, in the quiet suburb of Flat Bush. If you ever need to visit us, there is ample street parking and some parking on-site.
